カナダの画家 Soniaさんとのコラボ作品【TOFINO】 Soniaさんは私のお客様　彼女の素晴らしいアートを拝見し、共同制作を提案　二年前、私の作ったそれぞれ形の違うこけし六体をカナダへ送り、最近、完成品が日本に到着

何故二年もかかったか　私が彼女に「急がず、ゆっくり時間をかけ、本当に描きたいと思った時だけ描いてほしい」と伝えたから　この歳月の中、彼女は様々なことからインスピレーションを受けたでしょう　嬉しいことや悲しいこと、その時々に多様な感情を抱いたことでしょう　そんな彼女の人生の物語がこの作品に刻まれています

モントリオールを拠点に活動するイラストレーター兼グラフィックデザイナー　現在は創作活動の純粋な楽しみのために絵を描いています　こけしの大ファンとして、昇さんとの新たなアートコラボの冒険に乗り出すことに興奮しています！

制作について

私のデザインは様々な芸術様式、文化、そして自然への愛に影響を受けています　それぞれの人形の独特な形に着想を得て、スケッチをほとんど、あるいは全く行わず、直接木に絵を描きながらデザインを進化させていきました

夕暮れ時の赤い森の花。花の目は知恵、守護、自然との繋がりを象徴しています。

I completed this piece in Collab with Canadian artist Sonia-san. She is one of my customers, and while we were communicating about an order, I saw her wonderful art and asked her if we could work together on a piece. About two years ago, I sent six kokeshi that I had made, each with a different shape, to Canada, and this year the finished products arrived safely in Japan.

The reason it took so long is because I told Sonia-san, "Don't rush anything, take your time, and only paint when you really feel like it." Over the course of two years, She must have been inspired by many things, and felt a wide range of emotions at each stage, both happy and sad. The story of her life is engraved on this kokeshi.

About me

A illustrator and graphic designer based in Montreal, who now paints for the pure enjoyment of creating. As an avid kokeshi fan, I was excited to embark on this new artistic collab adventure with Noboru-san!

How I worked on these dolls

My designs were influenced by various artistic styles, cultures, and a love of nature. Inspired by each doll's particular shape, I allowed designs to evolve as I painted directly on the wood, with little or no sketching involved.

Shipping fee
For dear my oversea customers. I am very happy to deliver my products overseas, but you must pay for the shipping fee. Shipping fee is not included on the price. Shipping fee varies with weights of the product. Since my product is all handmade, it weights can be measured after when it’s done. I really appreciated for your understanding. Things you must be aware of when you receive your product
Due to deterioration over time (due to the effects of ultraviolet rays, heat, oxygen, moisture, etc.), the color of the wood and dye may change. Placing Kokeshi where sun light spots could change the color due to the damage of UV to wood and painting. Placing Kokeshi at the dry environment could lead to cracks and damage to painting. Wax was used on some products. Sometimes wax can stick together with white or yellow soild form. You can easily wipe them of by cleaning with dry clean towel.

作品のお取り扱いについて
経年劣化(紫外線・熱・酸素・水分などの影響)により、木材、染料の色が変色することがございます。日光の当たる場所へ作品を飾ると、紫外線により、木材、染料の変色、乾燥している場所へ作品を飾ると、木の割れ、顔料の剝れが生じることがございます。ロウ仕上げの作品は、ロウが白や黄色く固まることがあります。その場合は乾いた布などで磨いてください。作品がお客様の元へ到着した際、明らかな損傷、木の割れ、色むらなど、気になる点がございましたら、お気軽にお問い合わせください。綺麗な作品作りを心がけておりますが、全ての工程を手作業で行っております。ご理解をいただければ幸いです。
