シデ・スポルテッド材がついに無くなり、残念に思っていたら😭登米町森林組合の會津さんが持ってきてくれました！🙌なんと、クリ、ナラ材まで！このナラ材、グレー🩶私はグレーが好きなので、いつかグレーの材を扱いたいと思っていました　めっちゃ嬉しい！制作できる✨會津さん、本当にありがとうございました😊

I was sad to find that we had finally run out of hornbeam spalted wood😭 but then Aizu-san from the Tome Town Forestry Association brought us some! 🙌 I'm so happy!

●小泉誠／家具デザイナー　プロフィール

1960年東京生まれ。木工技術を習得した後、デザイナー原兆英と原成光に師事。1990年Koizumi Studio設立。2003年にデザインを伝える場として「こいずみ道具店」を開設。建築から箸置きまで生活に関わる全てのデザインを手がけ、現在は日本全国のものづくりの現場を駆け回り地域との恊働を続けている。2015年には「一般社団法人わざわ座」を立ち上げ、手仕事の復権を目指す活動を開始。2005年より武蔵野美術大学空間演出デザイン学科教授。2012年毎日デザイン賞受賞。2015年日本クラフト展大賞。2018年JIDデザインアワード大賞。

●Makoto Koizumi/furniture designer profile

Born in Tokyo in 1960. After learning woodworking techniques, he studied under designers Choei Hara and Shigemitsu Hara. Established Koizumi Studio in 1990. In 2003, he opened "Koizumi Dogu Store" as a place to convey his designs. He designs everything related to daily life, from architecture to chopstick rests, and currently travels to manufacturing sites across Japan and continues to collaborate with local communities. In 2015, he established the "Wazawa-za General Incorporated Association'' and began activities aimed at restoring handicrafts. Since 2005, he has been a professor at Musashino Art University's Spatial Design Department. Winner of the 2012 Mainichi Design Award. 2015 Japan Craft Exhibition Award. Winner of the 2018 JID Design Award.
