【Donation to Support Disaster Relief】

【五黄の寅】特注品。ご注文内容は、私のお任せで「五黄の寅」生まれの大切な娘様のお守りとなる作品の制作。私はこの仕事で下書きはしないので一筆一筆を一発勝負で描いています。

娘様を守護する存在として「五黄の寅」を力強い虎として表現。これから人生でどんな困難に出会っても、それを乗り越えていける強い心を持ってほしいという願いを込めました。自分らしい色に人生を染め上げていく。その始まりをあえてモノクロームで表現したいと考え、虎は墨のみで仕上げました。

娘様が大人になられたらこの作品をお譲りになるとのこと。このような大切な作品の制作を私にお任せいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。

【The Year of the Gohaku Tiger】

This piece was commissioned as a protective talisman for a beloved daughter born in the Year of the Gohaku Tiger, with the design entrusted entirely to me.

I do not make preliminary sketches for my work. Each stroke is painted by hand, one decisive stroke at a time, as a one-time expression.

I chose to portray the “Gohaku Tiger” as a powerful tiger, representing a guardian watching over her.

I created this piece with the wish that, no matter what difficulties she may encounter throughout her life, she will have the strength of heart to overcome them.

I wanted to express the beginning of a life that will eventually be colored in her own unique way.

For that reason, I deliberately chose a monochrome expression for this piece, painting the tiger using only sumi.

I was told that this piece will be passed on to her when she becomes an adult.

I am deeply grateful to have been entrusted with the creation of such a meaningful and precious work.
